We are Kinga and Feri and we are happy to present you our soul project, Tilkós pension, which was built in Tamásváralja, my native village.
We have started from a simple idea of offering a different kind of accommodation, in the middle of the nature, where you can run with your family and friends and enjoy the days away from the noisy city.
We have built and designed the house on our own. Feri was the constructor and I, Kinga, the interior designer. We have partook in every detail: from choosing every vase and pillow, to the color of the walls and assembling of the furniture.
The main attraction (and our favorite part as well), is the wooden heated outdoor hot tub with salt water, which can be heated up to 42 degrees and which can be used even in winter time, and the “barrel-type” sauna, which are located in the garden, so you can enjoy the fresh mountain air at the same time.
Our first guests came in December 2018, on the big opening day of our pension, when we realized that even though the villa accommodates 9-11 people, this does not mean that we can’t organize bigger events. That night it was snowing so beautifully that it felt like in a fairytale… it was a moment in our lives that we will definitely never forget!
Our pension awaits its guests in a valley with romantic forests, surrounded by hills, in a small village 45 km from Satu Mare.

It has four floors. On the ground floor there is a very large living room with fireplace, dining and kitchen area and a bathroom. On the first floor there are four rooms with private bathrooms.
But it is more than just a place to stay, it is a quiet place where you can relax, but also a guest house with many entertainment options: ping-pong, table football, darts and billiard table.
An essential – and very popular – accessory for the yard is the fryer, oven, kettle, as well as a spacious garden and terrace.
And for those who would want to disconnect from the world, it is also possible to walk and hike in the fresh mountain air.
Pension Tilkós can be an excellent choice for those who love the mountains, nature and want to spend a few days with their family and friends in a pleasant environment.

Felszeg House is in line with the traditional wooden peasant constructions of northwestern Transylvania. It is located 300 meters from Pensiunea Tilkós and features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom. One side of the house is adorned with a verandah supported by wooden pillars in an ‘L’ shape.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TILKÓS GUESTHOUSE
Location
The distance between Tilkuș Guesthouse and Satu Mare is approx. 43 km, which means a comfortable 45-minute drive by car.
Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: after 3:00 PM
- Check-out: by 11:00 AM, latest 12:00 PM
- If there are no immediate bookings, the stay can be extended upon request, for an extra fee.
Kitchen and Equipment
- The guesthouse is fully equipped: cutlery, plates, glasses, and basic spices are available.
- A bean-to-cup coffee machine is provided, with coffee included. (For special preferences, we recommend bringing your own coffee.)
Outdoor Cooking
- Firewood is provided for barbecuing and cooking in the large cauldron available.
- Guests must bring their own charcoal.
Hot Tub
- Rates: 300 lei/day, 500 lei/2 days
- It will be pre-heated for your arrival, but afterwards, maintaining the fire is the guests’ responsibility.
Sauna
- Fee: 40 lei / hour
- Heating time (50–60 minutes) is not charged.
- The sauna is equipped with a timer; payment is made upon check-out.
Wines
- In the kitchen fridge, a selection of Poszet wines awaits you – a gift from the house, enjoy it with pleasure.
- In the wine cooler, you will find additional chilled wines with a price list next to them.
- Wines consumed from the wine cooler must be paid upon check-out.

- Horse riding is available at the guesthouse for both children and adults.
